Atley Wiese gets on the podium, twice, at Langley

Rookie racer Atley Wiese of Hayes had a pair of podium finishes on Saturday in Late Model stock car racing on Saturday at Langley Speedway in Hampton. After qualifying was canceled due to hard rain, there was some hard charging behind the wheel of the No. 78. Wiese moved from a P11 start to a P3 finish in the first of twin Late Model features Saturday night at Langley Speedway. After an invert, he then brought his No. 78 machine from P6 to another P3 finish in the second twin—trailing only eight-time Langley Speedway track champion, Greg Edwards, and former Hampton Heat winner, Woody Howard.
