Deltas advance to semifinals tonight

Matt Kleinfelter pitched a complete game shutout, and the Deltaville Deltas delivered opportune hitting as they defeated Caribe Baseball by the score of 5-0 in the NABA playoff quarterfinals on Saturday night.
With the win, the Deltas advance to the league semifinals against the Richmond El Heaters. That game will be played tonight, Thursday Aug. 7, at 7:30 at Deltaville Ballpark. A win in that game will send Deltaville to a best-of-three championship series against the winner of the other semifinal matchup, either the Tappahannock Tides or Richmond River Dogs. That series will start at 2 p.m. Sunday at The Diamond in Richmond. Results, schedule, and locations will be announced on the Deltas’ website and Facebook pages.
