The congregation of Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, held a special celebration on Sunday, for the retirement of the church mortgage debt. A catered luncheon was held after the service. Special guests included previous pastor, the Rev. Paul Schafer and his wife, Sherri, and charter members of the church, Paul and Barbara Bauer.
