BEST YEARS TRIP: A Best Years Trip to Montpelier will be held from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2. Participants will walk the grounds, tour the house and have lunch on your own at Forked On Main. The registration fee is $85 and the deadline is today.
PARK AFTER DARK: Park After Dark will be held from 7-11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26 at Beaverdam Park (8687 Roaring Springs Road). You may participate in self-guided hiking, biking and boating. Youth 15 years and under are free, must be accompanied by an adult. All rental fees apply. Check in and out at the Ranger Station. The registration fee is $5 and the deadline to register is Friday.
