The Cricket Hill Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, met on Friday at Kingston Parish, Mathews. Members listened to Fred Lyon, chairman of Mathews VA250 talk about all of the activities planned for 2026 in the county. Lyon and the Mathews VA250 committee have been busy organizing the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
