Cruises available aboard Claud W. Somers

The classic skipjack Claud W. Somers passed its recent Coast Guard certification inspection, and cruises are being booked for the rest of the season.
The sailing vessel, owned and maintained by the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum for the past 25 years, is available for scheduled tours on July 12 and 26, Aug. 16 and 30, Sept. 13 (the day of the Classic Boat Show) and Oct. 8 and 25. Some cruises have limited availability.
Cruises leave from the museum dock around 10 a.m. for a two-hour sail.
Cost is $35 per person (non-members) and $30 per person for members. Payment is due at time of booking. The boat can carry up to 20 passengers. Minimum age is 10. The boat also can be chartered for groups.
