CRP enrollment underway

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency is accepting offers for its Conservation Reserve Program through June 6.
The Conservation Reserve Program, or CRP, administered by the Farm Service Agency, is a voluntary program that encourages agricultural producers and landowners to convert highly erodible and other environmentally sensitive acreage to vegetative cover, such as native grasses, trees and riparian buffers. The program has evolved over the years, providing many conservation and economic benefits.
By enrolling in CRP, participants receive annual rental payments and cost-share assistance to establish long-term, resource-conserving vegetative covers. The American Relief Act of 2025 extended provisions for CRP through Sept. 30, 2025.
