The Courthouse Community Orchestra has a few performances scheduled for the holiday season. A string ensemble/consort from the orchestra will play at Gloucester Public Library’s open house at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. The full orchestra, under the direction of SSgt. Jarrett Kocan, will perform at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at Newington Baptist Church, 6169 Main Street, Gloucester; 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1860 Hayes Road, Gloucester Point; and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Cobbs Creek Arts Center, 61 Cobbs Creek Lane.
