Country music performer Matt Popp will make appearances on Friday at Nuttall & Co. in Ware Neck and Saturday at The Cowboy Sports Grill in Yorktown.

He will perform from 4-6 p.m. Friday at the store at 6495 Ware Neck Road in Gloucester. Saturday’s performance will be from 6-8 p.m. at the Yorktown location at 6401 George Washington Memorial Highway.

Popp is a singer/songwriter from Orange, Connecticut. He started singing at an early age, and picked up a guitar at the age of 13.  Popp enjoyed many different types of music, but country became his passion, a release stated.  In high school, he developed a love for songwriting.  During college, he started the band Post No Bills and, since its formation, they have played all across Connecticut.
