The Westmoreland Players Theater, 16217 Richmond Road, Callao, will present farcical stage play of “Clue” on Aug. 1-17. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased by clicking tickets on Westmorelandplayers.org or calling 804-529-9345.
Clue is based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. The franchise began in 1949 with the manufacture of the “Cluedo” board game. Currently owned and published by Hasbro, the game has since sold 200 million copies worldwide. A murder-mystery comedy film by Paramount Pictures released in 1985 became a cult classic.
