All post offices, courts, county offices, DMV customer service centers, and libraries in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed Monday in observance of George Washington’s birthday.
Schools in Mathews will be closed, while Gloucester schools will have early dismissal of 12:15 p.m. for middle and high schools and 1:30 p.m. for elementary schools.
All waste facilities and ABC stores in both counties will be open for normal hours....
