The latest issue of vasaltwaterfishing.com listed new citations for residents winning red drum release citations from the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament as follows:
Aaron Flippin of Hayes, 50-inch fish caught May 11 in the lower York River;
Carter Paige Flippin of Gloucester, 46-inch fish caught May 10 at Poquoson Flats;
Ronald H. Powell of Hayes, 46-inch fish caught May 10 at Poquoson Flats;
Chris Robins of Hayes, 56-inch fish caught May 10 at Poquoson Flats, and
David Odenkirk of Gloucester, 47-inch fish caught May 7 in Chesapeake Bay.
Other citations newly reported for local residents include the following:
James L. Riley Jr. of Gloucester, 10-pound, 3-ounce sheepshead caught May 22 in Mobjack Bay;
Bristy N. Moore of Gloucester, 5-pound, 13-ounce speckled trout caught May 18 in Piankatank River;
