Roger Collier. “We fished in a somewhat sheltered area of the Piankatank River as the strong northeast wind made fishing difficult, but we roughed it out,” Alvin Ingram said. At left, Charles Ingram shows off a good-sized croaker (weighing about two pounds) and a small spot he just hauled in. “It was a rough but wonderful fishing trip even though we had had a strong northeast wind with gusts up to 27 mph and lots of rolling white-capped waves.
