The Chesapeake Bay Writers will hold its end-of-year celebration on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sal’s by Victor, 1242 Richmond Road, Williamsburg.

In other CBW news, Neal Steele of WXGM (99.1 FM) will welcome members at 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, to talk about “Pumpkin Spice and Haunted Nights,” a new short story collection just in time for the Halloween season.
Steele has interviewed members of the Chesapeake Bay Writers on the second Monday of nearly every month since 2007. The interview will be available as a podcast on the CBW website.
