Wine, beer and other spirits were flowing this weekend in Gloucester, with Saturday’s Gloucester Wine Festival (“Wine, Whiskey & Whatnot”) at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs and Sunday’s Oktoberfest celebration at the Gloucester Brewing Company. The weather for Saturday’s Gloucester Wine Festival, hosted by the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce, was picture perfect, as festival-goers got the chance to enjoy some of the best wines and gourmet foods, shop from local vendors, and kick up their heels to live music by SlapNation (above photo). Sunday’s Oktoberfest featured a German-inspired menu from Dominion Dogs, as well as beer, live music and a stein-holding contest.
