Kingston Episcopal Parish will have a Celtic Service at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, at Kingston Parish Chapel, 370 Main Street, Mathews.
The service will feature St. Cadoc, a champion of learning in the 6th century. Despite the book burnings that occurred during the Dark Ages, this monk taught that there was no separation between the love of God and the love of learning, a release said.
This candlelight service, with Holy Eucharist and quiet moments for meditation and lighting candles, provides an opportunity to offer special blessings and prayers.Strings and Things Quartet will play Celtic music throughout the service. All are welcome....
