CAROLYN PARKER KAUFFMANN

Carolyn Parker Kauffmann, 87, of Franklin, North Carolina, formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Born in Newport News, Va., she was the daughter of the late William Scott and Mary Julia Pace Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edloe Kauffmann, and grandchild, Pace Laura Ringuette.

She retired from Langley Air Force Base, where she worked for 40 plus years. Mrs. Kauffmann was of the Catholic faith, past president of The King’s Daughters in Gloucester, Va., and an avid animal lover and bird enthusiast. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers Club, loved to travel, watch movies, play bingo, and knit. She was very active in her community and looked forward to her daily lunch with her friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Julia Bellomy (Jeffrey) of Franklin, and Marian Ringuette (Gary) of Riverview, Fla.; four grandchildren, Parker Wiltberger, John Kauffmann, Alexa Ringuette, and Christian Ringuette, and two great-grandchildren, Maya Kauffmann and Mason Kauffmann.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 18, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 11565 66th Ave N., Seminole, Fla. 33772.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601.
