    LEMON SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE

2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. Swans Down cake flour
1 c. sour cream
½ c. can milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbs. lemon flavoring
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add sour cream blending well. Add flour mixed with salt and baking powder and milk alternately mixing well. Add lemon extract and blend. Pour in greased and lightly floured cake pan and bake for one and one half hours at 315°F.
  MESSY CHOCOLATE CAKE

1 box Duncan Hines Devil’s Food Deliciously Moist Cake mix

Mix and bake according to directions on box. Cool on wire rack and then cover with following icing recipe:

¼ c. cocoa baking powder
4 c. confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
8 oz. cream cheese
¼ c. butter

Mix all ingredients together until of spreading consistency.
