Bunnie Ann (Hines, Royals) Dodge, 81, of Gloucester, died on Dec. 29, 2018.  

She was born on June 13, 1937 to the former Clarence Cleveland and Evelyn Craig (Jenkins) Hines of Warwick County, Virginia. Obtaining an LPN license in 1977, and an RN license in 1984, Bunnie had worked at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, retiring after 26 years of dedicated nursing, retiring from the latter as an ICU Nurse Supervisor in 2003.  

In addition to her parents, Bunnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Terriel Howard “Pete” Royals; brothers, Clarence Cleveland “Bug” Hines Jr. of Newport News, and Thomas Shelton “Tommy” Hines of York County.

She is survived by her husband, Charles L. Dodge; daughters, Patricia Ann “Tracey” Royals of Cobbs Creek, Theresa Page “Tess” Owens (Keith) of Gloucester; son, Terriel Howard Royals Jr. (Betsy) of Brookfield, Wisconsin; grandson, Joshua Keith Owens of Richmond; granddaughters, Meghan Royals of Gurnee, Illinois, Emily Royals Karls (Matt); great-grandson, Jason M. Karls, all of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; a special friend, Jacky Pittman of Gloucester, and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
