The Mathews High School Robotics Team, also known as Rocket Sauce Team 1137, is hosting a “Build a Robot Day” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in their workshop located behind the high school.

At Saturday’s session, the team will build a competition-size robot similar to the one they use during the regular season. Any local county or home-schooled students in eighth through 12th grades (ages 12-18) are invited to attend the workshop to learn more about the team, and to build and run robots.
