Historic Yorktown’s annual festival is going country. Boots, Brews & BBQ comes to Riverwalk Landing from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 2. Tickets are currently on sale for this event, which promises a number of craft beers, BBQ available for purchase, and the down-home sounds of the area’s finest country musicians on the scenic Riverwalk Landing Stage. Festivities begin at noon with a patriotic performance by The Fifes & Drums of York Town. Then, at 12:30 p.m., Runnin’ Shine kicks off the musical entertainment, followed by The Nashville Nights Band at 3:30 p.m. Early bird tickets (through April 17) are $40 and $50 after and at the door (if still available).
