Board members take part in ‘Principal for the Day’

Several members from the Gloucester County School Board and Board of Supervisors participated in “Principal for the Day” earlier this week, where these members served as acting principals at Gloucester County Public Schools.
“Our principals do it all,” said superintendent of schools Dr. Anthony Vladu during the Principal for the Day social Tuesday evening in the T.C. Walker Education Center Café.
Each board member who participated in
being principal shared a few words about the experience to fellow board members Tuesday evening.“We had the calmest day ever at Achilles,” said Achilles Elementary School principal Susan Andrews. She likened board of supervisors member Ashley Chriscoe to a “lucky charm” for his presence at Achilles on Tuesday.
“What goes on in these schools is very underrated,” said Chriscoe.
