Bernard F. Setterholm Jr., 64, of Hayes, left his earthly home and went on to his Heavenly home on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015.

Bernard was a graduate of Gloucester High School, served in the Army, and was a dedicated member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a gifted waterman with superior skills at the helm of his boat and enjoyed his days spent on the water. Bernard never hesitated to volunteer his time and help to anyone who asked and he made lasting friendships. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be missed forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard F. Setterholm Sr. and Frances H. Setterholm.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 42 years, Teresa Riley Setterholm; daughter, Emily Lemon and husband Paul; son, Jeffrey Setterholm and wife Pamela; grandchildren, Sawyer and Gus Lemon and Brayden Setterholm; sisters, Betsy Jenkins and husband Lane and Theresa Crowder and husband Motie, and brother, Richard Setterholm and wife Teresa.

Memorial service conducted by the Rev. Ray Goude Sr. will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at Providence Baptist Church. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 10-10:45 at the church.
