Baystars youth soccer teams celebrate victories

The Baystars youth soccer teams celebrated a winning weekend. Among those winning teams were the Tigersharks. Several Baystars youth soccer teams took victories over the weekend.
Hurricanes
The U10 Hurricanes achieved a shutout win of 4-0 against the Virginia Rush Soccer Club on Saturday at Woodville Park. Declan Long and Theo Collins scored two goals each with assists by Jep Doley, Bryson Foster and Jack Sheridan. Gabriel Franklin and Spencer Leigh alternated as goalkeeper and recorded three saves each.
Rockfish
The U19 Rockfish defeated VA Rush, 3-0, at Woodville Park on Sunday. Mason Schmidt, Elias Hidalgo and Owen Wilcox scored three goals each. Wilcox was assisted by Schmidt.
Tigersharks
The U12 Tigersharks emerged Saturday with a 2-1 with over the Beach F.C. Dragons. Brayden Bartlett scored the first goal for the Tigersharks in the second half. He was assisted by Greyson Mahnke. Grady Jones extended the lead with another goal shot from the top of the box, which was assisted by Ayden Foster.
