Several Baystars youth soccer teams ended their regular fall seasons with wins over the weekend.
Captains
The U14 Captains finished the season with two decisive wins over the Beach FC Spartans, 6-0 and 4-0. The team’s final season record stands at 7-1.
Hurricanes
The U10 Hurricanes defeated the VA Rush Peninsula, 2-1. Jack Sheridan scored on a corner kick by Theo Collins and Collins scored the second goal for the Hurricanes. Spencer Leigh recorded 10 saves in the net. The Hurricanes ended the season with a record of 6-2.
Rockfish
The U19 Rockfish tied with the Beach FC NPL Pirlo, 1-1, Sunday at the Hampton Roads Sports Complex. The goal attributed to the Rockfish was accidentally made by the opposing team’s goalie. The Rockfish ended the season with five wins, one loss and two tied games.
Whitecaps
The U11 Whitecaps traveled to Prince George Saturday to beat the previously undefeated Xtreme SC, 2-1. Colton Bergstrom scored the first goal of the game. Goalkeeper Fett Kutch recorded one ...
