The Dave Marchant Virginia Veterans Tournament was held Aug. 29 at the Piankatank River Golf Club, Hartfield, hosted by Assembly 3349 of the Knights of Columbus.
The event is named for Marchant who led the Assembly at the time of his death in 2020. Proceeds benefit the Virginia Veterans Services Foundation, which in turn supports the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. Both address the needs of persons who have served and their families.
Seventy-nine participants enjoyed fall-like temperatures and a picture-perfect course. Award winners included:
