Auditions Sunday for ‘Lost in Yonkers’

Auditions for the Court House Players production of “Lost in Yonkers,” a memory play by comic playwright Neil Simon, will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Sunday at Cobbs Creek Arts Center, 61 Cobbs Creek Lane, Cobbs Creek.
There are seven roles—two teenage males, ages 13 and 15; two males and two females, all in their 30s to 40s; and a female in her 70s.
The play tells the story of Bella, a 35-year-old mentally challenged woman who lives at home in Yonkers, New York, with her mother, stern Grandma Kurnitz. When Bella’s ne’er-do-well brother Eddie deposits his two young sons on the old lady’s doorstep, the boys are left to contend with a new life in this strange new world called Yonkers.
Performances will be July 25-27 at the Cobbs Creek Arts Center.
For more information, call director Carolyn Molly at 804-815-1734.
