Dr. Bridget K. Block, an audiologist, recently affiliated with Hampton Roads ENT-Allergy’s office in the Sentara Medical Arts Building in Gloucester Business Park, White Marsh.

She works part time in the Gloucester office and part time in the practice’s Williamsburg office. But also Block said she’s “very busy being a mommy.”

Block said she has 5½ years of professional audiology experience—all in Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree at the Long Island Consortium and also received a professional certification in that field. She earned a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology at St. John’s University.

Block offers hearing tests. Clients sit in a sound-proof booth and then Block sends a series of low to high tones to see if there is any hearing loss. She tests clients of all ages, including children ages five and older, but does not fit hearing aids for young children.
