Gloucester Arts on Main has issued an invitation to artists of every medium and level to submit up to three works of art for a chance to be featured in the gallery’s 2025 Annual Juried Show.
This year’s juror will be Trent Nicholas, who is Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Film and Media Resources Coordinator.
Like jurors from previous years, Nicholas will conduct a blind review of the submissions and select 40-50 pieces for the show from photos submitted by the artists, minus names and other information. It is advised that artists submit good, clear pictures of their work.
Three winning artists will be awarded cash prizes at the First Friday opening reception on Oct. 3. Submissions will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday, Aug. 8.
The show will run from Oct. 3 to Nov. 1.
