Summer art camps start in just a couple of weeks at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews, and sign-up is underway.
All camps are on a “Pay What You Can” basis. Those who can’t afford the camps pay nothing, while those who can pay more to help someone else may donate to the scholarship fund.
The classes begin on Wednesday, June 11, with an all-day camp for children ages 10-13 on the art technique ‘pointillism.’ The cost is $50.
On Friday, June 13, students from 12 to 17 will be able to participate in the all-day class Create Your Own Junk Journal. The cost is $55.
A four-day Camp for Littles will be held from June 16-19, with children ages 4-6 getting messy while creating art. The cost is $50.
Children ages 7-10 will have a four-day camp, Mermaids Myths and Legends, from June 24-27. The cost is $125.
The final June camp will be Techniques in Art for ages 7-12 all day on Saturday, June 28. The cost is $50.
