‘An Artist’s Journey’ opens Friday at Bay School

“An Artist’s Journey,” a Bay School Community Arts Center show that focuses on the student artist, opens this Friday, July 25, with a reception from 5-7 p.m. at the gallery on Main Street in Mathews.
There will be food, drinks, art, artists, and great company, said a press release. Artwork such as felting, photography, paintings, pottery and jewelry will all be on display.
Participating artists in this annual show have all taken a Bay School class recently in their creative journey. The artwork is either created in or inspired by classes at the school.
There are 25 participating artists entered this year, said the release, and it is the first time some of them have entered a show.
An Artist’s Journey is a great opportunity to learn about all of the wonderful classes offered at the Bay School for all skill levels and ages, said the release.
The show runs through Aug. 25.
