Abingdon Ruritans offer scholarships to Gloucester students

Gloucester High School students and Gloucester County home-schooled students who are seniors are encouraged to apply for one of the Abingdon Ruritan Club’s scholarships. Students planning to attend a four-year college or university may apply for one of the club’s academic scholarships. The scholarship is $6,000. Those planning to attend a community college, trade or vocational school may apply for the club’s Workforce Scholarship. That scholarship is $3,000. The application forms and requirements for these scholarships are posted on the Gloucester High School’s website: http://ghs.gloucester.schooldesk.net. They are also posted on the club’s website at www.abingdonruritanclub.com. To be considered for these scholarships, completed applications must be submitted to the school’s Counseling Office no later than 3 p.m. on Friday, April 17.
