Abingdon Ruritans offer pair of college scholarships

Gloucester High School students and Gloucester County homeschooled students who are seniors are encouraged to apply for one of the Abingdon Ruritan Club’s two scholarships.

One scholarship will be awarded to a student who plans to attend a four-year college or university ($4,000) and the other to a student who plans to attend a community college, vocational, or trade school ($2,000). 

Community college students enrolled in a Career Studies Certificate program will be given preference over those not enrolled in a Career Studies Certificate program. The application form and requirements for these scholarships are posted on the Gloucester High School’s website http://ghs.gloucester.schooldesk.net. They are also posted on the club’s website at www.abingdonruritanclub.com.
