A strawberry and ice cream festival is planned

A strawberry and ice cream festival will be held at the parsonage of the Old Baptist Church on Thursday, June 11. The festival will commence at 5 p.m. and will be managed by the Willing Workers.

Susan correspondent reports: The shad fishing has closed for the season; results less favorable than were expected, some making wages, while others failed to meet expenses. Such is life. Some sink while others swim. But the hens continue to cackle and string beans are in blossom.
