A party brightens a January evening

Mr. and Mrs. Dossie Mitchem gave a very delightful party at their home on Wednesday, Jan. 8, in honor of the Miss Addie Della Diggs. Among those present were the Misses Lessie Hurst, Goldie Callis, Lora Owens, Ruth Muse, Belle Powell, Hattie Minter, and Messrs. Raymond Sparrow, Brodus Brown, Elwood Hurst, Thomas Mitchem, Edgar Callis, Lee Godsey, Mitchel Wroten, Russell Foster and Chester Foster. Games were played until 10:30 o’clock, after which, refreshments were served. The happy parties returned to their homes, thanking Mr. and Mrs. Mitchem, hoping they will have another party soon.
