A new owner at Brighton

Mr. Rosser Diggs has just completed a very nice wharf and boat house at “Brighton” for Mr. H. Hollerith, who recently purchased “Brighton” of J.M. Campbell.

Mr. E.M. Bassett, the popular Merchant of Bohannon who has been sick for some time, has recovered and desires his friends to take notice that he will now be in his store regularly as of old. He regrets that sickness prevented him from giving his usual attention to his business during the past few weeks.

Mr. Robert L. Callis’s home was made happy last week by the arrival of a fine baby girl.

Naxera School Notes: Our school opened Monday with the enrollment of about eighty pupils. We are all glad to have Miss Martha Sinclair as our principal again and our other teachers are Miss Pearl Moore and Miss Judie Sinclair.
