The York River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons recently participated in the Trex Recycling program, recycling plastic bags and other items. Along with the help of the Abingdon Ruritan Club and Providence Baptist Church, they accomplished their goal to help protect the environment. The bench shown here was the reward for their effort and it was donated to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society in appreciation of its dedication to the community.
