The Deltaville Deltas took care of business on the road last week, but a late-inning comeback attempt at home fell short on Saturday night. The Deltas pummeled the Richmond Yankees, 15-1, but fell to the Tappahannock Tides, 11-5. The Deltas move to 6-2 on the season, and 5-2 in league play, and sit a game and a half back of league-leading Caribe Baseball. This week, the Deltas travelled to Richmond for a Wednesday night road game against the Richmond Misfits. On Saturday night, the Deltas will host longtime league foe, the Richmond Brewers, who enter the week just ahead of the Deltas with a 6-1 record.
