40 new COVID-19 cases in Gloucester this week

COVID-19 cases continued to rise in Gloucester during the past week, with the county recording 40 new cases in a six-day period since last Wednesday after reporting 44 new cases over an eight-day period last week. Total cases in Gloucester are now just shy of 4,000, at 3,981 cases. The rate of hospitalizations and deaths in the county remained static, with none reported over the last six days, leaving those counts at 92 and 79, respectively.

Mathews recorded just seven new cases during the past week, bringing total cases to 910 for the county, and had no new hospitalizations or deaths, leaving those totals at 28 and 24, respectively.

Middlesex saw even fewer cases, with just four reported, for a total of 967 since the pandemic began, and no new hospitalizations or deaths, which remain at 33 for both.
