Four businesses that have helped York County grow and thrive took center stage last Thursday at the 2026 Distinguished Business Affair, which was held in the Freight Shed at Riverwalk Landing. York County’s Economic Development Authority and Department of Economic & Tourism Development joined forces to present the Distinguished Business of the Year Award to the Primrose School of Yorktown; the Business Revitalization Award to Pappas Orthodontics, and the Business Expansion Award to Shorty’s Diner of Yorktown.
