Gloucester County Public Schools has announced that four of its schools have been named in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Schools Rankings.
Bethel and Botetourt elementary schools were named in the Best Elementary Schools category and Page and Peasley middle schools were among the Best Middle Schools.
Each of these schools ranked in the top 40 percent of all public schools in Virginia, which is based on student performance on state assessments and overall academic achievement.
GCPS was recently ranked number one in Virginia’s Region 3 and recognized as one of the top three school districts in Coastal Virginia for overall academic achievement.
