3 presentations on tonight’s Mathews BOS agenda

The Mathews County Board of Supervisors has three special presentations scheduled for the regular monthly meeting, to be held at 6 o’clock this evening, Thursday, Jan. 15, in the historic courthouse on Court Street. Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates will give its final FY25 audit presentation; Davenport & Company will provide an FY25 financial update and capital planning analysis; and there will be an update on the Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill situation. Under unfinished business, the board will for a second time consider changes to its existing bylaws, code of ethics, and rules of procedure, and under new business it will consider revisions to the county’s employee handbook. Finally, the board will have a closed session to consider appointments to the county Department of Social Services, the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission, and the VA250 Committee....
