The Mathews County Board of Supervisors has three special presentations scheduled for the regular monthly meeting, to be held at 6 o’clock this evening, Thursday, Jan. 15, in the historic courthouse on Court Street. Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates will give its final FY25 audit presentation; Davenport & Company will provide an FY25 financial update and capital planning analysis; and there will be an update on the Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill situation. Under unfinished business, the board will for a second time consider changes to its existing bylaws, code of ethics, and rules of procedure, and under new business it will consider revisions to the county’s employee handbook.
