Zoom talk Sunday on Sudan conflict

John Dau, a “Lost Boy of Sudan” who was among the group who escaped Sudan to America during his country’s civil war, will deliver a virtual talk at 4 p.m. Sunday for the Middlesex County Museum and Historical Society.

The documentary film, “God Grew Tired of Us,” follows the story of Dau and two others who were separated from their families and friends during the Second Sudanese Civil War, and ultimately settled in the U.S. with the help of Catholic Charities.

To request the Zoom link or telephone dial-in number for John Dau’s talk titled “A Child of Rural South Sudan,” email the museum at info@middlesexmuseum.com, call 804-758-3663, or sign up on the museum’s website.
