Eight Gloucester High School students are attending this week’s Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Program at the Virginia State Police Academy in Richmond. This weeklong summer program of the American Legion and the Virginia State Police provides students with first-hand experience and insight into the operations of law enforcement agencies and gives these highly motivated young people with an opportunity to consider law enforcement as a potential career choice.
