Signups are underway for Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism’s Junior (ages 12-14) and Senior (15-18) basketball leagues.

The league will play early March through late April. Teams meet for practices and games twice a week, Monday-Thursday. Volunteer coaches are needed. The registration fee is $45 by Dec. 18 or $50 Dec. 19 through Feb. 11.

GYMNASTICS: Gymnastics for ages 3 to 18 will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Botetourt and Abingdon schools, beginning the week of Jan. 2. These 10-week classes include: Parent and Child classes for 3, 4, and 5 year-olds ($60); Beginners for ages 5 and older ($75), Intermediate for ages 6 and older ($75) and Advanced ($80). Registration deadline is Dec. 26.

ZUMBA: Zuma classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays in January from 6:45-7:45 p.m. at Abingdon Elementary. The fee is $8 per day if you sign up for the whole month or $9 per day for individual days. The deadline to register is Dec. 27.
