Those seeking a boutique that doubles as a do-it-yourself studio need look no further than Your Southern Heart, located at 6661 Hickory Fork Road in Hayes.

Cathy Kezar first opened her business in August 2019 in the same shopping center. After a year and a half at that location, she moved the store to Yorktown so she could work closer to where she lived. Kezar closed the store after one year in Yorktown and kept her store closed for two years before reopening in the original shopping center in May.

Your Southern Heart is a woman’s apparel store filled with stylish tops, rompers, cardigans, shoes, accessories and more. According to Kezar, the store’s clothing items are reasonably priced and most items are under $50.

“It’s a lot of stuff in a tiny store,” she said.
