Put on your sunscreen, swimsuits, and flip-flops and head to Riverwalk Landing this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon for some “Fun in the Sun.”This special Yorktown Market Days event offers a variety of activities that are “shore” to make your entire family smile, a York County release stated.

Children can play inflatable lawn games, paint seashells, blow bubbles, and more. A balloon artist will be on hand to create and twist characters for the little ones. Guests will also be able to strum or shake instruments with One Love Caribbean Steel Drum Band, who will perform on the Riverwalk Landing Stage.

The market will include everything from meats, produce and other food items to sea-themed art and jewelry. Several food trucks are also scheduled to attend.

Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, and other designated public parking lots.
