The Yorktown Wine & Oyster Festival returns to Riverwalk Landing this weekend, from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 on Sunday. The annual festival invites guests to savor an array of wines, fresh oysters, and other culinary offerings while enjoying live entertainment, artisan shopping, and the scenic York River waterfront. Wine enthusiasts can sample a selection of Virginia wines alongside sparkling and international selections, including Rieslings from Germany and Champagne from France, a special tribute to Yorktown’s sister cities. Local oysters, seafood specialties, and other festival fare will be available for purchase throughout the weekend, while a Beer Garden will offer additional options for craft beer enthusiasts. Live music will set the tone throughout the weekend with performances by, on Saturday, The Fifes & Drums of York Town (noon), The Original Rhondels (12:30-3 p.m.) and Party Fins (3:30-6 p.m.); and, on Sunday, The Michael Clark Band (12:30-4 p.m.).
