The 2022 Yorktown Seafood Festival, “Seafood Summerfest,” will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, on the Yorktown waterfront.The day will include Chesapeake Bay exhibits, a children’s fishing class, food, music, arts and crafts, and vendors with a wide variety of items for sale.The York County Market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon, and the Running of the Crabs starts at 10 a.m. adjacent to the market.

Bands will be performing at the Watermen’s Museum throughout the day, including Bob Zentz at 11 a.m., Clan MacCool at noon, Winsome at 1 p.m., and ShantyGrass at 2 p.m. Bob Zentz and Friends will perform from 3-4 p.m.
