From outdoor concerts and festivals to art strolls and historic reenactments, there are several reasons to visit Yorktown in 2025.
This year marks the return of the Cabin Fever Concert Series along with several new additions, such as the Yorktown Wine & Oyster Festival and celebrations commemorating the 20th Anniversary of Riverwalk Landing and the 250th Anniversary of Lord Dunmore’s Virginia Campaign.
Other popular events include the Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival; Paws at the River; Sounds of Summer and Rhythms on the Riverwalk Concert Series; Virginia Symphony Concert; Yorktown Workboat Races; and Independence Day and Yorktown Day celebrations.
The 2025 season concludes with the annual Yorktown Celebrates Christmas events, including the Christmas Tree Lighting, Christmas Market on Main, Lighted Boat Parade, Cookies with Santa, An Enchanted Evening on Main Street, and Mistletoe Market, which features the Toyland Parade.
The popular Yorktown Market Days returns to Riverwalk Landing on Saturdays with specially-themed markets on select dates. Four winter markets are scheduled to occur from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in February and March. The new market season officially begins April 13 with the Go Green Market. Markets will be held from 8 a.m. to noon from April 13 to Oct. 25 (excluding May 3 and Oct. 4), unless otherwise noted.
